Geometric Void is the tangible remains of an eight-hour performance that took place at the Bruce High Quality Foundation's Field of Dreams, July 24th 2010. After mapping out my own fundamental geometric divisions onto a transparent sheet of Perspex, I use these as guides to develop more intricate patterns stemming from proportional relationships. I continue until the dense configuration of lines begins to obliterate my form completely from view.

It is believed that the human body contains in its biometrics all the important geometric and geodesic measures and functions, therefore reflecting the primary seed pattern for universal life. Through identification with our universal proportions expressed through the bodies form, we may contemplate the link between our own physiology and universal cosmology. To re-enact the genesis from the human bodies seed potential is a way to seek the principles of our evolution, and reveal the ongoing underlying process that brings us into existence and is the same as that of our demise; we returns to the geometric void from which we came.
