After your glow is a continuation of previous works using my own geometry as the starting point. Abstracting the complex human anatomy to simplified forms, the Reticular compositions are mapped to the dimensions of my body. In this series, the compositions become further reduced to a few coloured planes, the complexity of which lies within the specific meeting of points and the spaces between.

Echoing the traditions of contemplative paintings, the interlocking compositions incorporate structures that imply pure or timeless forms, while the colour and materiality evoke an embodied visual experience: a transient exchange between subjectivity of personal experience and consciousness of the eternal.

The colour used in the paintings is derived solely from powdered rock, collected during a 4-month period of travel around some of the most remote Andean peaks. My treks through Peru, Bolivia, Argentina, Chile and Brazil, lead me to the some of the grandest mountains and valleys, through which I collected a variety of coloured rocks from
